Hello ONLL Families,
WOW, what a year we all have had. I am sending this letter with the hope that all of our Oceanside National family is happy, healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.
GOOD NEWS! We are planning for a Spring 2021 season for Oceanside National Little League, with the expectation that we will be reaching the red tier in the coming weeks of COVID restrictions. The red tier will allow for youth baseball programs to practice and play games.
Registration for all divisions is now open! Registrations will only be held online this year. Because of the uncertain times we are still in, we are not collecting any registration fees until we have the green light to play (red tier). In the meantime, we will be accepting registrations via a ‘wait list’, accepting manager/coach applications, holding tryouts and forming teams. As soon as we are notified that we can play, we will move all players from the wait list to formal registration, and you will receive an email with the notification as well as a link to pay the registration fees. Finally, I am thrilled to share that have reduced the registration fees this year and will NOT be collecting the raffle monies or snack bar deposits.

TBALL: $80.00 FARM: $ 100.00 AA: $110.00
AAA: $130.00 MAJORS: $140.00 50/70: $140.00 JUNIORS: $ 140.00
We have put together a schedule to assist in the sharing of information to all our parents. Here is our proposed timeline for the season to begin:
PROPOSED 2021 SPRING OCEANSIDE NATIONAL TIMELINE:
February 2021 Online registration opens; manager/coach applications will be accepted at this time (online when registering your player).
March 6, 2021 Tryouts #1 (upper divisions only)
March 13, 2021 Tryouts #2 (upper divisions only)
March 13, 2021 Upper division registration will be placed on waiting list; lower divisions will continue.
March 21, 2021 Upper division draft
March 22, 2021 or sooner Players moved from waitlist to active registration; emails will be sent out with a link to pay your registration fees online
March 29, 2021 Practices begin
April 1, 2021 Schedules will be completed
April 10, 2021 1ST games all divisions and Photo Day
June 26, 2021 Lower division season complete (Closing Ceremonies unknown at this time)
Upper division season completion will depend on Tournament schedule.
This season may look a little different than our usual season, as we remain fluid and adhere to County and CDC guidelines. Try-outs will look different, uniforms may be delayed, and Opening Ceremonies likely won’t occur, but we, along with so many families, are anxious just to get these kids back out there and playing. Please be assured that Little League and CDC COVID guidelines will be followed as we all work together to enjoy a Spring season.
