Welcome to the 2020 Season!

We have a record number of registrations...nearly 300, with a minimum of 3 teams in each division, and SIX T-ball teams! We are very excited for the upcoming season.

PLAYER NOTIFICATIONS
All players have been contacted by their coaches, and rosters have been posted.

If you have not heard from your coach, you can email them directly from your Team Page link that you receive in your email. Also, if you would like a spouse, grandparent, work email, additional phone number, etc. added for communication purposes, please just log in to your account and update any information there.

MEET THE COACH
Meet the Coach is this Saturday, February 15. Lower divisions are from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, and upper divisions are from 10:45 to noon. Please do not arrive before your division's time slot as we will have a lot of people in a small space. You can come anytime in that time window for your division that works for you. Please note that while Meet the Coach is not mandatory, it's a great opportunity to meet your coach and other teammates, and also save 20% off your baseball needs at Dick's! If you will not be able to attend on Saturday, please let your coach know your player's jersey size, as orders will be placed Saturday night at 6:00 pm. Also, have your player think of a few jersey numbers they would like as coach's will be collecting those as well.

If you signed up for raffle ticket IOU's last weekend when we ran out, you can pick them up at the Board table when you arrive. Additional tickets will also be available for purchase.

TEXT ALERTS
Please be sure to sign up for text alerts. This will be used throughout the season to notify of field closures due to rain, important reminders, etc. A new company is being used for text alerts this year, so even if you were signed up last year you must sign up again for this season. To sign up for text alerts, text 'ONLLtshq30014' to 334-310-2497.

REGISTRATIONS
We do still have space left on teams in all divisions, although spaces are limited. If you have a friend interested in playing this season, we still have room! If the site still allows registration in a division, then we have space and they will be assigned to a team immediately. If it shows a wait list, then they will be wait listed until a spot opens up. So if you have any buddies that want to play, etc., let them know to register online ASAP to insure placement on a team.

PRACTICES
Lower division practice schedules will be coordinated on Saturday. Upper division practices should already have been communicated by your coach. Practices will stat Monday, February 17.

GAME SCHEDULES
It takes a considerable amount of coordinating to schedule all of the games, particularly with how many teams we have this year. Game schedules will not be posted for several weeks, but we will send out an announcement as soon as they are posted.

SNACK BAR
We will be having a snack bar the full season this year, as we already have a snack bar coordinator in place. Details on volunteering, etc. will come out as soon as we have them defined.

TEAM SITES
Sports Connect (our online registration and website platform) includes a Team page, which includes your team directory/roster where you can add their player's photo, number, etc., a calendar that will auto populate the game schedule but can also be used for practice schedules and other team events, a news page (which posts articles from the website), and also a quick and easy way to email your coach, teammates, team parent, etc. Parents and participants will see a Visit Team Page link after logging in (or access it via the link provided in the Roster email).

IMPORTANT DATES
Meet the Coach - Saturday, February 15 from 9:00 to noon

Opening Ceremonies - Saturday, March 7 at 9:00 am (games will be scheduled for that day)

Picture Day - Saturday, March 14

Padres Little League Day - Sunday, May 31 at 3:20 pm (Padres vs Miami Marlins); details to follow

Closing Ceremonies - TBD
