2022 All-Stars

Overview
Little League All Stars is an opportunity for players to play on another team, meet new friends, represent their community and experience what is typically an organized and well-run tournament. Participating in and of itself is a rewarding experience. There is a nominal registration fee of $110 for participating on an All-Star team to cover the uniform, awards, etc. The Little League All-Star Tournament is an exciting and memorable experience and opportunities exist for many ages.

Participants of the following league ages are considered eligible for the specified teams:

  • Junior Division – All ages who played Juniors for ONLL

Intermediate Division – All 12 and 13 year-olds who played in the ONLL 50/70 and Major Divisions

Little League Division – All 11 and 12 year-olds who played in the ONLL 50/70 and Major Divisions

10-11 year old Division – All 10 and 11 year-olds who played in ONLL AAA and Major Divisions

8, 9 & 10 year old Division – All 9 and 10 year-olds who played in the ONLL AAA and Major Divisions

Players, managers and coaches are selected for the team in accordance with ONLL By-Laws. All interested and eligible players must submit an All Star Commitment Form which is linked below tournament player verification form. Submitting the form does not assure you a position on one of the teams; it simply lets us know that you wish to be considered and will commit to being available for practices and games throughout the All-Star season.

Schedule
All-Star teams are selected in May and announced on June 1st. Practices begin immediately thereafter. Each team will participate in a District 70 double elimination All-Star tournament which is scheduled by District 70. The first series runs June 25 - July 2. Teams that win District 70 move on to play throughout July, and can advance through August. Games can be any evening during the week or anytime on a Saturday or Sunday. Each District tournament usually takes about 9 days to complete. The winning teams of each tournament advance to the State Tournament; this is the highest level in which the 9/10 and 10/11 year-old teams advance. Other divisions can continue to advance through the regional tournament all the way to the Little League World Series. State tournaments run mid-July through the end of July.  Regional tournaments for the Major Division team runs through August.

Qualities of an All Star
All Star players exhibit the following qualities:

  • Exemplifies good sportsmanship and team spirit when winning or losing
  • Demonstrates the highest and most consistent ability to execute the fundamental skills of the game
  • Demonstrates commitment to an intensive schedule of practice and games throughout the entire tournament period
  • Often skilled at more than one position

All participants must reside in or have a School of Choice waiver within the boundaries of ONLL and have played in at least 60% of the regular season games where they are eligible. For players selected for a team, Residency Documentation days will be held at the snack bar in early June. Players will need to bring a copy of their certified birth certificate, as well as copies of their residency or school proof as detailed in the detached, along with the registration fee. Players that do not provide full documentation on the two document days will not be able to play.
